Speaker Prof. Dr. Fatih TANRIVERDİ Professor of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Memorial Kayseri Hospital Turkey

Professor of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Memorial Kayseri Hospital Turkey Dr. Fatih Tanrıverdi was born in Kayseri in 1973. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He completed his specialization training in the Department of Internal Medicine and subspecialization training in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine between 1998-2007. He worked as a research fellow in the field of neuroendocrinology-molecular endocrinology with Prof. Dr. Pierre Bouloux at the “University College London, Royal Free College, Molecular and Neuroendocrinology” clinic in England between 2002-2003. His areas of interest are neuroendocrinology, adrenal diseases and diabetes technologies and he has 120 international publications in the SCI and SCI-E categories. He was awarded the first place in the TEMD “Best Young Researcher Award” in 2007. In 2012, he was awarded the TÜBİTAK Incentive Award for his international studies in the field of neuroendocrine changes due to head trauma. He became an associate professor in 2010 and a professor in 2015. He resigned from his academic position at Erciyes University in 2018. He currently works as an endocrinologist at Memorial Kayseri Hospital.
